Still drinking well, if perhaps a bit muted. All about its non-fruit elements of violets, something tarry, and what fruit there is leans blackberry. It's good, but I'd probably drink up at this point as I don't believe it will improve. There is also probably no rush.

Yep, that’s syrah. Bacon fat, blackberry, lilac, smoke. Fine tannin, medium acidity, decent length. All around quite nice and solid at the price point ($25).

Just ok -- a bit one dimensional. Maybe the bottle?

Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Northern Rhone (@ RW): Beautiful and smoky bouquet. On the palate chocolate, good acidity and length. Really beautiful wine with a future of about 3 – 5+ years.

Subsequent bottles of this haven't been as exciting as the first. Still very good and held up well to barbecue ribs.
