Very enjoyable wine; young, but fairly open; cool dark fruits on the nose with some mineral and a hint of herbs, violet and a hint of tea. Well balanced on the palate with definite underlying structure, but really fairly covered up by fruit when sipping with dinner. Tannins more prominent on its own. Drinks well now with food, but should continue to develop for another 5+ years easily. Good value.

Bluish purple rim with a medium intensity ruby red center. Raspberry, marshmallow, and a sour candy finish. Relative high acidity and palate was tingly from the acid and my gums hurt by the end of the bottle. Clos du Roy is high elevation (270 meters) and the wine reflected it. Not my cup of tea.

Broderen på besøk. Lett reduktiv likt som blåser bort. Fin sødmefull PN med. Flott rustikk med frisk frukt, mørkt bakteppe, 2 dager: syrlig frisk bringebærfrukt som sitter lenge

Nez de fruits rouges très frais, léger fumée... Très frais et très mineral, groseilles, cerise rouge, beaucoup de tannins, légèrement vert en finale..;

Light ruby colour.
Medium (+) intensity aromas, but hard to distinguish between them. Sweet cherry, cranberry, raspberry, a hint of floral and baking spices.
Pronounced palate. Light body, medium acidity, medium (-) tannins, medium subtle finish.
