Not my cub of tea. Super Creamy/Buttery. We paired with Halibut and the food improved the wine for my taste. My friends loved it, they like California Chards

Medium body green apple and maybe slight white peach. Almonds on the finish. The acid is lovely and lasts forever. Served with buttery dill halibut and cheese risotto

eyes-medium to light straw nose-med-high intensity, stone fruits-peach & apricot, pear, honeydew, light citrus, high complexity mouth-med intensity, green apple, pear, honeydew, lemon curd, light wood, med-high acidity summary-very well-balanced, intense flavors offset by crisp acidity, complex aromas and flavors that evolve in the mouth

Love this wine. So much going on here. Pop n pour, to reveal aromas of soft pineapple, drops of lemon, mint and lemongrass. On the palate its medium acidity, lovely feel and a crisp finish with almond paste coming across. It ends up opening up more with more oaky notes but the refreshing crisp finish remains. Buttered popcorn but in an elegant manner, not knock you in the face oaky Cali style. Could take any Puligny or Meursault. Bravo Monsieur Barrett. Bravo 👏👏
