Cask sample. Vines that are 75-80 years old. A masculine treasure with delicious fruits of plums, raspberries, licorice and sweet parfumed aromas. Pretty full-bodied wine with power, but still really clean and weightless. Lovely fruit of plums, raspberries and coffee. Deep salts provide concentration and nerve throughout the wine. Long and lovely finish with balancing tannins. Really great and distinctive wine. 95 points. For now. (95-97 points)
