67% grenache from Dry Stack vineyard in Bennett Valley, 23% mourvedre from Kenwood and 10% syrah from Sonoma Mountain. BBQ bramble fruit, grape stems, red licorice, youthful campfire roasted pomegranate, sage, herbal tones, and finished with a fair amount of white pepper tart. If you are holding earlier vintages of this wine, based off this experience, I would definitely say they are either drinking at peak or may even be a little youthful and require a decant. I uncorked this bottle on one day and came back to it on the second day and consumed the other 50% and honestly it didn't seem like another day of bottle decanting really did all that much. Really nice representation of a new world GSM!
