Last bottle of this vintage, already have some 2019 in place. This really is consistent stuff and is a fairly regular visitor to our fish on Friday night dining table.

Running out of things to say about this wine, a Friday night fish/shellfish partner regular in our house over many vintages. Consistent as ever; I think I have said that before.

Pale lemon in color. Good intensity on the nose - apple, gooseberry, peach and melon. Super clean and sharp. Yet has backbone. Even some creaminess. On the palette has good intensity ; apple and gooseberry along with the classic Rias Baixas salt of the sea air. Nice good length. Overall lovely balance from the domaine and the woman who put Rias Baixas on the map. Is their entry level wine, and great value for money. A fantastic Introduction to good Albarino. It is said this producers Albariño will age well. We will see; either way it well worth having several in the cellar to pop and pour when finally we can have friends around once again to share good wine with. Can’t wait!

Nice acidity, tartness, freshness, minerality. Lacking on the finish--short and watery, though it gained some weight as it opened. I think this is stylistically typical, especially at the price point. Refreshing with spiced food, and a good alternative to Riesling because it doesn't require residual sugar. No grassy notes like a Sauv Blanc.
