13.5% abv. Served blind, correctly guessed 2017 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.
Clearly new world nose. Pineapple, melon, honey, a hint of waxy notes, it's all there. Some white/yellow floral aromas. Not too much oak aromas. Palate is medium-full body, definitely some glycerin in the mouthfeel. Palate has lowish acidity and nicely concentrated fruit. Finish was all brown butter and buttered popcorn.
Clearly a well made but not my style for Chardonnay. Shows some restraint so not quite "cougar juice" in my book, but still on the riper side. Afterall, it is cali chard and it certainly tastes like it.
Drink now, can go a little longer but no reason to wait.

Nose of pineapple, banana, vanilla cream, melted butter. Palate had a lot of ripe tree fruits and was very viscous/bodied. Some acid was present on the finish but was pretty low overall. Very ripe but not as oaked as other cali chards, somewhat restrained in a certain way. QPR is meh here but not that bad for cali chard and definitely will please casual drinkers. Drink now.

Highly recommend - in a perfect drinking window right now. A reasonable but not great QPR wine given the price point. Drink or hold and leaning heavily on the drink - no further anticipated upside with further cellaring although under proper cellaring conditions this probably has a good 2-3 years left at a very high level. Clear, dark yellow, mature and integrated, good mouth feel, full bodied, not particularly buttery, oak well controlled and could use a little more acidity at this stage. Nose intense with a hint of salinity, honey, brioche, yellow melon and peach. Flavor profile of a hint of yeast up front, well integrated controlled butter & oak, lemon curd, banana and a green tea finish. Just a beautiful Sonoma Coast chardonnay.

Clear medium gold; clean pronounced nose of brioche, lemon curd, caramel and butter; dry; medium plus acidity; medium plus alcohol; full body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is slightly tarter and mirrors big buttery goodness of nose; long finish; drink now or in a few years; delicious but wished for a little more acidity
