  It's a fairly easy drinker but stands up to quite a lot of meats without being too light. Classic red fruits, cherries, medium finish.

  Quick decant, this has cherry and wood in the nose while the palate is savory to start off with and moves into more of fruit forward aspect with time in the glass. Lighter in body, with a medium length finish.

Alongside the '17 vintage, this one is far more fruit forward without the spiciness that I liked in the '17. My general impression here was one of sweet red fruit. Not for me.
