My last bottle of this and while quite similar to the last one (notes on 6/27/20) this bottle had a touch more minerality (although not as much as the de Selle bottling) so it garners a 91+ this time around.

Nose: Straw aromas with trace minerality. Palate: Bright acidity with some strawberry and cherry hints. Also the chalk minerals present which along with the acids give plenty of verve and energy to this solid Rose. There is also a spicy note on the medium length, elegant finish. Very solid effort from Ott on par with the Ch. de Selle bottling although this Clos Mireille has a touch more fruit expression. Really like their style.

Tried a whole bottle of this bottling for the first time, very intense red fruit nose, raspberry, floral though, very elegant, creamy and at first a little restrained appearance on the palate, needs some aeration, fruit remaining on the red side, some herbal tones, peppery, good length, works very well with grilled prawns and meat, would not keep this wine long in my cellar, **(*)

Fine Wines SG - BYOB “Whose Wine is it anyway?” (Praelum Wine Bistro): Very faint pink in the colour, and I actually mistook for a white while blind. Fresh strawberry and tropical mango on the palate with a backdrop of hay, which I find them pretty classic of Provence
