  • Ok, is this a freak wine...or does 10yr old Beaujolais really taste this good??? I've been enjoying this wine for years...and to this day, it still continues to impress! Very tasty, still youthful, dark wild berry fruit, high toned with an orange tinge, ala Barolo, acidity....earth mineral spice, old leather, dried rose petals, straw. Very high toned, which makes it fresh and alive. Tasty with food....enough complexity to contemplate. Great wine!

  • Dark ruby red in color. Nose of blackcherry/raspberry, earth spice, dried florals, wet leaves. Beaujolais on steroids.....? Dark raspberry/blackcherry fruit...fresh crushed, tight acidity, mineralness, orange spice, earth tones. Wonderful dried rose petals, tobacco, crushed fruit. Well balanced, some sourness, enough complexity to contemplate. Continues to drink well....
