La Paulee NYC 2022 walkaround tasting An atomic nose, kaleidoscopic Vosne aromas to die for. Seamless wine, very fine and luxurious silky mouth feel, dense ripe mid palate and a very long black fruit decadent aftertaste with subtle minerality. Finishes brilliantly without any trace of heat. A wine for the hedonists. Stunning.

. Definitely the ripest rendition I’ve had of this wine near release out of the last 5-6 vintages I’ve tried on release. initially straight up ripe candied fruit and oak. Was not pleasing. But with air it becomes full on bing cherry and vosne spice galore. That plush ripe candied edge disappeared. The palate is extra rich with dense red berries. There is melange of spice on the finish and the density is insane. Tons of meat on the bones. If you open - I recommend a long decant
Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Mouthwatering nose displaying perfectly ripe pure black fruit, crushed blackberry and black cherry mix, crushed rose petal, Vosne spice, a hint of cedar, spicy spices and crushed rocks. Incredibly detailed sensual palate, layers upon layers of pure black fruit, silky and fluid, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a seamless long pure black fruit driven finish with Vosne spice and mineral at the end. As usual, my favorite Vosne 1er crus from Louis Michel. Loving it!

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): Walk around tasting. Perfumed nose with complex array of red, black and blue fruits. Lots more power vs the Village wines with great length. One of the most balanced and approachable of all the 2018s tasted.
