Straw yellow color, with golden reflections. On the nose dicreet aromas of white flowers, minerals, citrus and lemon peel. Full-bodied with an extemely high and refreshing acidity and notes of citrus, stone and chalk. Good potential for 3 - 4 more years. It pairs very well with fishes and fresh mediterranean salads.

We were very anxious to try this wine since it is from Santorini. This was served with pan seared sea scallops and pan seared-oven roasted yellow fin tuna. Upon opening the wine was dominated by a petrol/tar note that never quite disappeared... but I thought it added to the wine. Interesting, as there were some light peach, apricot notes... but also some grassy and mineral notes. Unfortunately, the finish was very short. Otherwise, this was a nice surprise. 87-89 points.

Straw color. Very elegant nose, nutty and mineral character with some citrus notes that show the way to lively acidity but on the mouth the elegance disappears. Bitter with unripe citrus flavors, very austere. Impressive nose but disapointing on the palate.

Greek Food and Wine Matching with Paloma Campbell from the Real Greek restaurant: There are lemony scents on the nose. This is bone dry on the palate, with very high acidity. Very clean and fresh. This was a good, though not particularly stunning match with Little dolmades, stuffed with rice, Corinthian sultanas and pine nuts, and served with a scallop and avgolemo sauce.
