Light yellow; lots of lemon, a fusil quality similar to many Rieslings, pumice, sour citrus; sour fruit continues, lighter bodied but an almost grainy texture with the intense minerality, finishes with a brief mist of sea water; good; an interesting alternative.

Bone dry wine with purity of flavors. Gaia Estate surprises again by bringing fruitiness to the Assyrtiko grape without compromising the mineral and textural side of the wines it produces. Description: Very light color of lemon-green hue. Nose of medium intensity yet of great purity of citrus fruit and a suspicion of tropical notes as well as mineral traces. Quite Chablis like. Palate is full and alcohol (13%) adds a roundness to the mouthfeel and counterbalances the high acidity. Flavors of fruit are crisp and razor sharp and finish is cleansing and long. Great with seafood and fried dishes. Drinking very well now, will show a different character with aging.

Dionysia wine fair: (tasted at Dionysia) (way above proper serving temperature) Warm nose with baked bread and yeast, high minerality, nice acidity, flint, to medium aftertaste.

Je l'ai utilisé comme un Chablis, en le proposant sur un saumon sauvage d'Alaska: bel accord et quelle tension dans ce vin atypique !
