Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours, with pork roast and without. Clearly better with food, as the high-toned tart fruit and acidity make this seem like a food wine. But I still appreciated it by itself, as there is high complexity including damp earth, berries, crunchy cherry and barnyard funk. I have one left and wish I had more.

This is a pretty good every day wine. Needs to open up a bit and should be opened at least a hour before drinking. Decent fruit nose with some underbrush note. Very smooth with mainly cherry on the palate and an interesting finish expressing additional complexity. A nice wine but not in the 90+ range. Has improved on day 2; upped the score. Nose is still the same but stronger. Potent red fruit with solid body, acidity and complex edges. Finish is tight and hinting at pencil lead.

This keeps getting better. I see why these cru Beaujolais should be cellared for 5 - 8 years. After opening, evolved showing Burgundian barnyard funk and grace.

Pop and pour, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours. The nose is a great mix of earth, berries and underbrush. The palate is vibrant and high-toned. I struggle a bit with cru Beaujolais, but there's no denying the complexity here.
