  Red apples and mushroom flavors but also some lovely bitterness. It is fresh but still with a touch more sweetness compared to todays new champagnes. Still, a nicely developed wine that is at its peak right now despite the apparent aged flavors.

  Epic Bordeaux for an Epic Birthday!; 9/1/2021-9/12/2021 (Paris & Bordeaux): As with many other bottles that we started with this was quite young but I remember thinking there is some great stuffing here for aging.

  Lovely, generous, old fashioned richesse, love it. So,e dosage here, I suspect, boudoir-style, lots of brioche and promises of the dark night. Great champagne, AD seemed to think so to, emptying the glass in record time.
