Served on my Polaris class United flight from IAH to FRA. Very very deep magenta color. Oiled leather, blueberry, and subtle vinyl on the nose. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish.
I remember this being better in the past. This time around, it seemed a bit reduced.
Served by the glass on my flight from Houston to London (United Polaris). Deep dark magenta color. Apple peel, blackberry, licorice (black), and charred papaya. Smooth, tongue drying palate, with cottony acidity. Full, soft tannins on the medium long finish. More acid-driven Priorat. Solid QPR.

Served on my United flight from London to Houston (Polaris class). Very very deep ruby magenta color. Blackberry, leather, cherry, and cinnamon on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This starts out very tight after its first pour and since I did not give it any decant time I was ready to go in the 88-89 range. Lo and behold after some time lingering in the glass it blossomed, with a nice blend of fruit and earth that went well with Thanksgiving dinner.

Ripe black cherry with baking spice and modern styled richness. Very good balance, good now. Probably a good value wine. Served in United Polaris class.
