Inky dark wine with a restrained nose. Moderately high acid and tannins but a pleasant mouth feel. Definitely Italian in style with a taste that is more Sangiovese than Cabernet sauvignon. Nicely priced. A good wine with pasta.

Enjoyed this blend. Very dark color, and yet lighter in body. Looking forward to the second bottle.

Wine Wednesday - Mixed Bag (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA): Plums, cherries, raspberry, black currant, and green bell pepper in the nose. Bitter espresso shines on the dry, fine-grained tannic finish. It needs some time to develop.

Solid wine for the price. Tasted over two days. The wine held up nicely. Maybe even better on day 2.
