needs time and some air. Then, complex scents of cherry and underbrush, palate consistent, with mushrooms and leather with cherry notes. Best with food, a mousse of truffles and artichoke. Every sip gets better and better

Not very surprisingly, this has aged very well. Dep ruby, almost black at the core, only with slight hints of brown at the rim. The nose, however, has become quite tertiary, dominated by nuts, warm earth and iron. The fruit - sour cherries - is still there at the back. Medium to full bodied - I expected more body! - almost on the elegant side. Sweet attack, then the tertirary, earthy aromas kicks in, leaving an almost old Bordeaux-like impression at the end. Long and dry aftertaste. A quite demanding wine that has aged somewhat different from what I expected. I thought it would develop in the vein of a Nebbiolo, but thsi is more like a Bordeuax. I guess that is a compliment.

Perfectly matured Taurasi. Powerful, yet elegant. Complex and lingering. Very nice indeed.

Très bon, encore assez tannique mais fruité. Bouteille bue sans soucis.
