Not detailed notes, but this had rich, ripe dark fruit, balsamic notes, med. tannin, med. acid, nice balance, and v. good length on the palate. A rather big layered forward style, but still shows nice tradition. Very enjoyable with Papardelle Bolognese.
Drank next to 2016 Le Cinciole Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Aluigi Campo ai Peri The Aluigi had a bit lighter color in the core, not by much, but brighter red. More traditional red berry Sangiovese flavor, softened in the mid palate, med+ acid, finished on the tart side. Still an enjoyable wine, but needs food. 91 pts.
Trying similar wines side by side is nice to compare styles and draw out varying flavor profiles. The downside is a wine that is really good on its own can come across less-so when served next to a big forward style.
Both of these are excellent in their own way.

Blind: I thought this was a brunello, partial credit.
There's a stewed red fruit note. This was picked ripe if I had to guess. It had the longest finish of the flight and was enjoyable. This classico held up well against the brunellos

Served blind. This seemed dense and concentrated to me, a bit hard for me to get my head around. My notes are abbreviated so likely I got hung up on the Brunello with my attention in the flight and just didn't evaluate the wine well enough.

Slightly more ripe on the nose and palate than the Riserva Caparsino tasted just prior. This exhibits excellent energy, purity, and the structural component are all here for a solid future. Very traditionally styled, with red fruits, forest scents, and pure, fresh cherry fruit. Impressive on its own, more so considering the very fair price. This BIO wine is 98% Sangiovese, 2% Colorino; drink 2021-2034+. 93-96
