Dark ruby color. Nose is fresh but intense, with kirsch paste and cranberries plus tobacco leaves. Nice acidity, lots of cranberries and tart cherries on the palate, with hints of Maraschino as well, white pepper, and tomato leaves with hints of menthol. Minerally. The ending is medium long with minimally-chalky tannins and warm spice+oak to give this a balanced and well-rounded feeling. This is still young but very enjoyable already; fairly complex and exotic in a way. Will probably improve a bit in the next 2-3 years but in my opinion no need to wait.

clean dark ruby appearance, pretty scents of flowers, red berry and violet, high energy, high tone, acid elevated the clean and crystalline palate, which showcases flavors of cherry, raspberry and mineral, the stoniness grips the palate on the finish, deeply refreshing, it is a good bet that this will age well but drinks well now

12.5% - Clear, med purple / clean, med to pronounced intensity - blackberry, cassis cream, plummy, topped with crunchy cranberry notes, sweet spices, earthy, mineral / dry, med to high tart acidity, med fine grained tannin, med body, med+ intensity, long lasting finish. I could sniff this all day, profound on the nose with lots of depth that carries through on the palate.

Sunday lunch with the Wine-Ark boys (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Meaty, savoury, wild ferment, red berries, liquorice, minerality, touch of meatiness. Medium plus intensity acidity, jubey, chalky minerality tannins, a little liquorice to the red berry fruit, really nice.

Prickly acidity, intruiging nose. A bit flat on the palate.
After a few hours, the freshness fades and carton prevails. Oh, and overripe fruit and dried blueberries.
