Pours a pale garnet in the glass. Developing, med + intensity aromas of strawberry fresh and dried, pomegranate, dried raspberry, cranberry (dried, juice, sauce), black tea, amaro (gentian, dried orange peel, wormwood), smoke, dried herbs (lavendar, marjoram), spice (star anise, black pepper). In the mouth, the wine is med - bodied, med + acid, med tannin, low alcohol, pronounced palate intensity, med + finish. Overall, very good. Drink now, not suitable for further aging. I think this is as good as it is going to get for this wine, though a few more years probably won't hurt it. Complex on the nose and in the mouth, very much in the German style, it's a "light" wine that really packs a punch, and is quite expressive. Impressive and worth the wait.

I didn’t “get” this style of featherweight Pinot at first. But then I had this with a wood fired leek, fontina, and mushroom pizza and everything was in its place. Very satisfying.

Cranberry, dark floral notes, and a faint mineral character. Palate is fruity with crisp acidity, with cranberries, raspberries and more floral notes. Fruit is still dominant to me. Quite tasty and a very versatile wine with food
Color: exceptional medium ruby Nose: at first whiff of roses and pine tree. Then lots of ripe red fruit: cherry and raspberry in particular. With some air, potted earth and a little cola, as well as freshly cut parsley Palate: light body, medium-high acidity, light on the tannins. Very food friendly. A lot of fruit per the nose, with cherry dominance, but also some cola and minerality. Also a lot of roses throughout. Finish: short
Wonderful and what qpr. I think this can take some age given the acidity, not sure I'd prefer it though
