Tasted blind: Clearly French Chardonnay; classy apple and pear nose; somewhat austere; a tad hollow for gran cru. I can usually identify Chablis with prolific accuracy. Totally shocked to see what it was; I’d guessed it to be a Chassagne1er.

This btl didn't quite rock me as much as my last in Oct 2022. That said, any night with Fevre in my glass & Nita's lumpy crabcakes on the plate is a great night for Craig. Life is good! 13% alc

In the glass, clear with a beautiful lemon-yellow color. The nose offers a nice complexity of citrus, green apple, minerals, and subtle notes of wood from the 14-month aging in average 6-year-old French oak barrels. On the palate, a medium body, elegant acidity, and a very refined flavor intensity. Beautifully balanced with a nice length and flavors of honey and caramel.

Not much on the nose, but flavorful and full bodied in the mouth with a long finish

Great minerality and acidity, with some layers of notes on the palate. But boy oh boy so much oak, though.
