Primary cherry fruit in the bouquet. On the palate primary red berries e.g. strawberries, green impressions, juicy acidity and just little tannin. Not so interesting commercially made barbera.

Pours light in the glass. Tart red fruits on the nose and palate, very light tanins, high acid, high alcohol, and an overly sugary finish. Cannot tell if finish is sugar from wine making or natural, but very sweet. OK find for $15, but there are better valued and more complex Barberas to be had at similar price point.

Lightly presented in the glass. Complex aromatics. Dark cherry and blackberry, old toasted oak and vanilla. Tannins are silky smooth and the acidity is refreshing and elevated.
