Crunchy cranberry, a hint of tart cherry, a little bit of lingonberry, and of course, raspberry. The 2018, instead of being riper, has a slightly different profile from the 2017 and 2019. The latter reflected typical Bachelet CdeN perfect profile of a lighter – red fruit, sweet, but tangy overlay. Very enjoyable. Better with a 30 minute decant.

At first a bit closed off and showing 18ish bruiser behavior. With time opened things softened and the pretty bachelet qualities come out. Should have decanted.

Christmas dinner with ham. Deep ruby red, maybe the faintest of bricking towards the rim, but basically all primary. Dark red fruits and black fruits and violets on the nose with fall spice. Fairly luscious on the palate with the nose confirmed with deep stewed black fruits, fine integrated tannins, and a touch of acidity to give it structure. Very elegant and enjoyable, although it would likely be much better in another few years. If I had another bottle, I would revisit in 2023-2024.

Corked... very disappointing; underlying palate stuff seemed quite lovely

A bit disappointed - more purple then red fruited. Stewed fruit, a bit Luxurious oak and quit light in style. Vintage 2018 showing here.
