  Funky nose - light red but little browning . Lovely and light on its feet on the palate - serious wine with a long finish

  A lovely nose of red fruits with some meats and spicies. In the mouth still a bit young, but drinking well. Improves with air for over 2 hours. Lovely already, but clearly has some upside still left to be gained with further cellaring.

  A bit sharp with a bite of sharpness on first opening, but calmed down almost immediately. Quite attractive delicate red fruit and a particularly appealing nose with some brambly qualities I liked. Medium weight for what it is with nice persistence and a satisfying finish. I think this will hold here easily for another couple of years, but there's unlikely to be further improvement. Shows the benefits of holding lesser wines for a few years, especially in strong vintages.
