Not your standard heavy-handed Shiraz. This is medium bodied and fairly subtle. The fruit doesn’t overwhelm. Cherry, blueberry, a little peppery, fresh acidity, smooth tannins, plush mouthfeel. Very pleasing to drink.

Loads of blackberry, of course, a true blooded Shiraz, yet very elegant for McLaren Vale, certainly seeking a more delicate style. The punters wont be dissaponted, here is fruit in abundance, pepper, herbs, but the wine is more restrained and fine than earlier wines from this domaine.

Notes of black cherry, black plum, black pepper, espresso, dark chocolate, and hints of oak commingle throughout. Ample acidity keeps it feeling fresh, with hints of cut flowers and tar emerging late and lingering on the medium-long finish. A lovely, complex wine that will continue to improve over the next few years.

Dark reddish-purple in color. essentially opaque. Forward, assertive & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, boysenberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, loam, spices, tea, minerals, some cocoa, & a hint of vanilla/& oak in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with herbs, spices, minerals & a bit of vanilla & oak. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing although it should develop further with additional aging.
