Black cherry aromas and flavors with slightly sweet spice, more pronounced on nose vs palate. Faint earth and mushroom brings some complexity. Good+ balance, moderate weight. Still drinking well.

Color: red/ruby. Nose: Brown sugar, caramel, sage. Taste: Mild (in the best sort of way) barnyard, burnt sugar, herbs, and dark fruit. Very very good, surprisingly so for 11 years.

Ruby red in color and almost clear on the edges. Cherries, cranberry and pomegranate on the nose. Black cherry, salted caramels, forest floor and a hint of cola on the palate. The finish tails off ever so slightly. A lovely example of a 10 year old California Pinot Noir although it lacks the vibrancy of the 01' version of this wine opened a few months ago.

Hard to believe this is 13 years old! Bright red fruit, lots of earth and mushroom, not much tannin, and a nice finish. Well done.
