  • Quite mature color.Exiting smell, earthy or like walking in the forest after a rain shower. Extremely smooth at the start, powers up significantly in the mid part and it has a long aftertaste. After one hour breathing the sharpness is gone - but the elegance and structure is still there. Will not improve - guess I will drink the rest of these bottles over the next 12-24 months.

  • This is beautiful right now. Gorgeous maroon color. Medium bodied with pretty good concentration. Red fruits, figs and petroleum on the nose (very attractive). Good cherry / raspberry on the palate. Soft tannins - tangly acidity. Rather subtle with a medium finish and with good fruit, this is an excellent value. The structure is solid and this should drink well for another 4-5 years. Terrific value.

  • Nose of crushed raspberry and earth. Palate of raspberry syrup that is overly sweet. Astrigent finish. Despite this wines good balance it has a strong Cherry Nyquil flavor that is off-putting.

(Pavelot Jean-Marc et Hugues Savigny-lès-Beaune) Medium cherry-red with a little fading at the rim. The fruit on the nose is less primary, showing a more raisin aspect. Similar fruit on the palate, medium concentration but very well crafted. The finish is super - good structure and excellent value.
