Clear light red. Very delicate nose, with strawberry/raspberry, some sweet spice like cinnamon and some aceton. Medium/light body, intense on the palate with red fruit and high acidity. Good length. Quite straight-forward, but Pavelot gives great value for the money.

A little tight but extremely earthy nose. Black moist dirt, along with black black cherry. A little light on flavor but nice powdery tannins. Short-ish finish.

Red with a brownish disk. On opening it was heavily animal. On day two some of the animal blew off, revealing floral notes, and some cherry. In the mouth the tannin was still a bit astringent... though the fruit was more on the prune and raisin than on the freshness, which makes me wonder where this wine will evolve to, and what will be left of the fruit when the tannin finally does subside. Drink when the drinking window opens, but don't wait years.
