Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 95 points

  • 10 barrels produced in 2018. The Chambertin Clos de Beze is a slight step up in depth compared to the Chambertin this year (not always the case in every vintage however!). An alluring bouquet of concentrated dark fruits, smoked earth and mild vanilla wood. Aromatic stems well integrated with the fruits and backbone. Less flashy but slightly more intellectual compared to the Chambertin this year. (95/100)
