Medium ruby in color. Wafting aromas of florals, red berries, spice and hint of soil. Very silky palate shows sweet crushed red berries, minerals, vibrant acids, minerals and a spicy/floral finish. This still needs to come together.

Monday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Clos de Tart, Lambrays, Bonneau du Martray and Perrot-Minot (Cote d'Or): Tasting at the domaine. Black fruit and concentrated on both nose and palate with more spice flavors than aromas. This combines excellent density with balance and elegance. Excellent 94-96 point potential. Perhaps one small notch better for me over the Chambertin, certainly for now, possibly the long-term. Both from Damoy fruit.

Perrot Minot Chambertin & Clos de Beze dinner: (A) Some subtle notes of berries and spices. Silky and red fruit-driven, but less concentrated than the '16s.

Domaine Perrot-Minot Tasting/Dinner with Some Other Great Burgundy from DNS (The Bristol - Chicago IL): Tasted several times through the evening, including alongside the 03,06,07 vintages. All black fruit with excellent concentration and balance. Spice hints on nose, more pronounced on the palate. Already very good, lots of upside 2025 forward. Consistent with when tasted a the domaine this summer.
