Solid value for money at ~$19 in Burgundy which is pretty tough to come by these days. It won’t wow you but it’s well built, balanced red fruit, earth, and acidity. Only thing that really lets it down is the finish which is a bit abrupt.

Garnet with a deep red core. Smelled cherry, strawberry, cedar, orange rind; tasted more cherry and juicy with some chewable vitamin flavor as well. Medium body, leaning acidic with some bitter tannin showing through, especially on the finish.

Ruby red. Open, but lighter, nose right from the PnP. Cherries, strawberries, earth, barnyard, with a hint of black tea and mushrooms. Medium bodied, medium acidity (but not flabby), dry, smooth, with a light extraction. Palate is a spot-on Bourgogne – cherries, strawberries, a bit of leather. Firm tannins bring along black tea and black pepper. Finish is long, tannic, with a huge mineral streak.
This is not a deep wine – What did show up is well executed and what I expect from Jadot’s Bourgogne bottling. Unfortunately the price tag of $17.50-$20 does beg the QPR question, but it is still hard not to enjoy a well-made Burgundy.

QP ratio rather low. Not a sipper. Medium to low body. OK with meat and fried fish. Caused a headache in my sensitive woman wife.

Very good QPR. Nice pinot, cherry flavors.
