  Concentrated and still a bit lactic dark berries in the bouquet. On the palate a juicy start, pleasant metal minerals, herbs and spices, cinnamon, laurel, round and fresh acidity and tannin and a pleasant touch of sweetness in the finish. Beautiful wine in its very early maturity stage. 92++

  Flickinger Warehouse Tasting (Chicago, IL): This definitely managed its oak treatment better than the Sensonne, but I still felt that a less obstrusive oak signature would have made for a much more compelling wine. The more generous amounts of fruit here help balance this wine better, and I do like the salinity here.

  Spearmint, black pepper, olives, plums and cherries come together perfectly in the perfume. The wine has good concentration, lush textures, layers of sweet, spicy fruits and a peppery overtone that adds a lot of zing to the finish. This is a very character driven wine, and I am really liking it!
