PnP. Slightly muted but still very noticeable nose reminded me of Chinese pineapple bun (ie pineapple and buttery bread), some lemon curd. Has a steely spine that keeps the pointy end sharp. Not as rich or deep as I expected though. Initial thoughts are 90 pts, with possible upgrade if it builds more depth with air.

Classic, big butter Sonoma chardonnay. Totally meets expectations. A bit two-dimensional in that way quite good but not great Cali chards sometimes present, hitting the right notes but evoking no more. But certainly pleasing.

Tasted at winery. Bad bottle Cork taint. I didn’t want to be rude and tell them. But after reading these reviews, I wish that I had asked fo taste another bottle ...

Impromptu dinner and tasting with our close friends (Our Farm in NJ): Decanted a couple hours before drinking. Then chilled and and removed from the chill to warm to cellar temp+. Really nice wine. Bright with acidity and a light to medium lemon yellow color. Crisp with notes of pineapple, lemon and lightly charred white peach. Very well balanced and complete with an old world sensibility. Judicious use of oak that was only slightly “visible” on the palate. Terrific mouth feel. Great alone and with my friend’s shrimp and crab en croute dish. Probably reasonable to expect this to improve with a few more years in the cellar.
