Probably well past it prime, this wine still sings! Spice and tropicals on the nose, somewhat muted on the palate but balanced and flavorful none the less. Mineral finish. Nice.

Wok, and had a citris flavor/component I couldn't quite put my finger on (apple, orange, lime, grapefruit?). Somehow it seems a little of each but none of these as well. Was fairly decent, but I think I would prefer Lewis or Dumol.

Again my default Ca chard- with some age this lays back, leaving such a pleasingly balanced refined(for a ca) number. Food pairing of dungeness crab, sourdough garlic bread and wine. Perfect NoCal dinner. Thinking this is around the low-end of the upper crust. Not quite a Kongsgaard or the like, but goes the same school and clubs.

Restores my faith in CA Chard. This bottle & time meld well into a restrained yet unctuous golden purity. So balanced- the acids just a taste ahead of the ripe fruit and barely a trace of the offensive CA butter. Simply beautiful.

Tons of fruit and oak on the nose. Delicious rich tropical fruit to the taste with a bit of acidity and oak. Not as oaky as some past Hobbs Chardonnay. Medium to long finish. Enjoy!!!
