Gift from Kover bought from Costco~$8. Hint of vanilla and oak on the nose. Brilliant dark yellow. Full body leather oak butterscotch and long dry acid chalk finish with touch of bitter green apple. Nice wine for the price. 6.5/10.
Another gift from Korver’s. New bottle on July 7, 2021. Getting butterscotch on nose with slight spice. On palate am getting same flavors. 7.5/10.

Some smoky wood notes. Some bright apple and pear fruit underneath the wood and drying tannins. Another Ste. Michelle wine destroyed by a heavy dose of oak. Medium finish.

A bit too much toasty oak notes for my palate. Plenty of cream. Masks the apple and pear fruit underneath. Golden yellow color. Decent balance a bit on the sweet side. Medium minus on the acidity. A hint of minerals? Medium finish.

Tasted on day 2. Oak is still prevalent. Masks the fruit. Some bright fruit in the background.

Some expressive tropical fruits. Oak is a bit too much here. Still decent balance.
