We drank the wine with a short rib dinner with no decanting or time to breath. It was very good with spice and red floral on the nose, a balanced palate with dark fruit, plum and mushroms. The tannins are soft and wel integrated. The finish is long and enjoyable. Pairs well with red meats.

Complex, earthy, smooth tannins. Nose of leather, strawberry, earthy. Medium bodied, garnet to purple color. Fairly high tannins but they were smooth and added nice complexity as opposed to tightness or drying.
Certainly one to decant. One the denser side of Pinot noirs.

Opened in the bottle for a few hours. Interesting stuff and very enjoyable but maybe lacking freshness/brightness? Stewed/baked strawberry/cherry, rhubarb, black tea and mint. Improved a bit with time so likely better in 1-2 years.

Light purple color. The nose boasts black cherries, raspberries, with cola, sweet violets, tilled soil, rhubarb and mint leaves. Full and suave on the palate with velvety tannins and medium acidity, this sports pretty balance and juicy black cherries, plums and blood orange. Complex notes of chestnut, clove, clay, earth, with cola and vanilla tones. Deep, rich, yet vibrant, this will do well with a few years of age.

Lacked the freshness and complexity it had at the winery tasting room.. Enjoyable but not quite the amazing wine I remembered. Bummer.
