Beautiful nose of blueberry jam. Palate is tannic and chalky with plenty of licorice, leather, and earth. I didn’t decant. Definitely needs 2 hour decant. Good stuff.

Dark almost opaque. PnP…. Definitely needs a decant. Dark fruit, plum, currant, dark cocoa. Round giving to its 90% merlot. Still very young. Fruit a bit upfront. Day three under gas was much better. Fruit coming into more balance with structured background… good potential.

Decanted abt 15mins....youthful purplish red hue on initial pour but however on swirling reveals an aged wine...blackcurrant,prune notes w mild vanilla tones...well balanced w alc 14.5 % but short finish w ?bitter notes..flavours did become more pronounced after 30mins but finish still short

Didn't decant, breathed in bottle, for about 4 hours
Initially a bit of chocolate and blackcurrant on the nose, a good deal of vanilla as well. Tannins took about 30 minutes to kick in, but weren't well integrated until the one hour mark. Prior to that, the transition from tannins to finish was thin. Eventually the nose was dominated by prunes.
Overall, I didn't find this journey so compelling.

From magnum. Pretty wow. Still somewhat primary dark fruit but now with interesting spice, leather and pencil and integrated tannins, medium+ finish.
