Little bit darker, deeper color for Barolo; up front and more primary with vibrant forest berries, earth, clove. medium rich mouthfeel, more rustic (and younger} than the '05 ARPEPE but really paired well with the radiatore-sausage pasta at Alimento. The ArPePe went very well with the slightly lighter and more subtle safron agnolotti filled with braised pork shank. Alimento w/Ggg

Medium-light bodied. Red-fruited with high acidity on the palate; some oak and anise, too. Drink or Hold.

Delicious dark cherries, tar, and rose notes on the nose and palate with refreshing tannins on a moderate long finish.
