Day 1 - Shiny straw color, a bit of advancement for its young age. Nose - bruised yellow apple, unripe apricot, and leafy maltiness like barley tea. Flat/neutral mid-palate, almost like chewing some thin plastic wrap, followed by slight hint of tannin/skin, salt, and more than a bit of alchol bitterness and heat (my bottle says 14% abv). Medium+ finish with lingering hint of ripe pear. Overall, aromatically a bit reminds of natural Chenin blanc, but structurally more flat and heavy (if blind, I might guess rather inexpensive blend of dry furmint and welschriesling). I was disappointed considering how excellent the previous vintage was - citrus refreshment is lacking this year and everything is slightly out of balance. 87.
Day 2 - evolving. Nose - sesame oil, fennel seed, and quince. Robust oily acidity got more upfront. Slightly honeyed aftertaste with hints of unripe pineapple, lemon, and scotch whisky (alcohol). Overall a bit reminds of lighty matured dry Bordeaux/Bergerac blanc (mostly Semillon) from hot vintage today. Rich but still a bit metallic/chaotic. 87-88.
Day 3 - good attack similar to day 1-2 (apple juice on nose, grapefruit juice in mouth), but bitter alcohol sticks out even more like cheap cocktail at the finish. 86-87.
I would say it’s just heat damage / issue in condition, if I had not encountered similarly unbalanced alcohol in other lineup of Tiberio (Trebbiano, Motepluciano) - now I’m skeptical about their overall quality/consistency.

Nose: melon and herbs. That "fullness" smell that one expects from good Pecorino.
Palate: nutty & beeswax, with a supremely satisfying saline + acid texture. Some orchard fruit in the back, but really the star is the texture and non-fruit characters.
This is an easy case buy per year, no questions asked.

Some skin contact here, lightly orange and has the apricot pit taste and a little texture. Decent finish and very food friendly
