  • A lot of butter and very ripe white peach and marmalade. On the palate butter, ripe fruits, good acidity, a touch of sweetness in the medium long finish.

  • Clear light yellow with a wonderful pear and tropical fruit bouquet. Pear and pineapple notes dominated with a zippy acidity that was a perfect complement to the pancetta and cream sauce gnocchi we paired it with.

  • As other reviews have indicated this is very young. Re-sealed and kept over a week it drank at its best on the last night. This will be very good I think. 89 for now.

  • By the glass. It needs more time. Undoubtedly. But that doesn’t guarantee that the result will be splendid. Right now every element is fighting on its own. On the nose it is a shy bottle, even withdrawn. Becsuse its high price, I will stay out to see its evolution.

Por copas. Necesita más tiempo. Indudablemente. Pero eso no garantiza que el resultado sea esplendoroso. En estos momentos cada elemento lucha por su lado. En nariz es una botella tímida, incluso retraída. Ante semejante precio, me quedaré con las ganas de ver su evolución.

  • A lovely Spanish Chardonnay from an obscure terroir that perhaps doesn't quite live up to its price tag. Medium gold in the glass with the merest hint of green. The nose is very attractive and restrained with beautifully defined stone fruits, pear, white flowers, pink grapefruit, pineapple and a touch of pastry cream - it screams Chardonnay. The palate is impeccably balanced with good texture and definition throughout. It finishes long and crisp with mouthwatering acidity. I am left searching for a little more complexity and interest but given its youthfulness it might yet go a notch higher. One to follow.
