Winemaker Tasting Notes: Aromas of red berry, black cherry, and plum. Notes of bay leaf, leather, and mocha. Flavors of ripe, dark, red stone fruit and berries with a long finish.

Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco (Sinskey, Vin Fraiche, Caldwell, Memento Mori, Almacerro, Vice Versa, Bruliam, Littorai, B Cellars, Impensata, Di Costanzo, Morlet); 10/2/2022-10/8/2022 (Napa, Sonoma and San Francisco): My favorite of all the wines we tasted at the root to table tasting at the winery. I'm a merlot fan and this was a very nice and open Merlot (great QPR IMO for something with some age on it). I grabbed a bottle and then our group had this at dinner later in our trip. It went very well with my pasta as well as my wife's steak. I may need to order some more of this!
