A little high price point for this fairly straightfoward, SB like wine. Very food friendly, a little apple and cirtrus notes, but subtle. Light on the acids.

Enjoyed with chicken picatta, lemon, artichokes and capers and a side of garlic sauteed spinach. Almost all the difficult food pairigs. Light to medium bodied with fruity, spicy and peppery notes. Had a nice finish.

'Tall bottles' (Austria, Germany, Alsace) with Thai food (Hartford, CT): Elegant and light with lots of pepper, spicy citrus and peach flavours over high acidity and chalky mineral notes. Pleasant, but not particularly complex - this probably didn't benefit from being poured alongside the Pichler GV.

Nose of slate and green apples. Good acidity on the palate immediately offset by gravel and chalk on the finish.
