-- popped and poured -- -- tasted non-blind over a couple hours --
NOSE: very similar to Tablas Creek's "Cotes de Tablas Blanc"; peach/nectarine; background steeliness; light perfumed florals; not complex, but very nice nonetheless.
BODY: green-yellow color of moderate depth; medium bodied.
TASTE: stone fruits on palate -- pluot, white peach; minerally on back end; tastes a wee bit sweet, but I think it's actually very dry; acidity is decent, but I'd like a bit more; bit of a vodka-like alc. taste showing as it warms to room temperature; 12.5% alc.; moderate rich; quite nice at this low price point.
B: 50, 5, 11, 16, 7 = 89

Lovely wine. Bit of grapefruit on the nose. Similar on taste with some lime too plus some honeyed minerality as well. Decent length, fresh acidity. Absolutely stunning QPR at the £6 this bottle cost me. Very food friendly too. Went well with a smoked salmon and fennel tartlet.

Initially, atypically rich and broad, but with time open this wine becomes rich yet focused and precise with a firmly acidic spine and great minerality. Great GV character with green pea and white pepper notes and altogether appealing. Not a small wine, but that's OK with me!
