  • Concentrated deep and very powerful. Very tightly wound at this stage. Nose is white orchard fruit, citrus and mineral. Palate takes forever to open. Decanted for a couple of hours. Then put half under argon overnight.

Next day still improving. Adds some nuttiness on the nose. Laser focused palate with orange peel, quince, mineral. So long and persistent.

Great wine and at this stage somewhat overpowering. Needs another couple of years to integrate. Suggest decant at this point for at least a couple of hours. Remarkable that it is holding up so well and even getting better day 2.

  • This is tight, deep, compact and powerful and really good. There are pure orchard fruit aromas and flavours. It has wonderful presence but with a light and airy quality. It is too young but satisfies and length is phenomenal. Grand Cru quality for mine.

  • Nose is beautiful with citrus, gunflint and stone fruit. Palate is balanced with good acidity. Medium plus palate. Quite seductive.
