Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • I PnP'd as a second bottle of the evening and I regretted not decanting. There was initially a gentle acetone note that dissipated after a few minutes of swirling.

Once it was gone, the fruit was so bright it was almost underripe—strawberry, cranberry, red currant, etc. As it got more oxygen, more spice notes came out. But I doubt it saw a significant amount of new oak, as the color was super light and the mouthfeel was very light and acid-focused.

I had more, I'd either let this sit in a decanter for an hour or let it sleep in the cellar for a few more years.
