  Bright mid ruby. Nose of red cherry, black cherry, redcurrant, leaf, smoke, meat, toast & strawberry. Decent body, strong acidity, ripe but slightly chalky tannin. To taste cherry, raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry, toast, smoke, spices, white pepper & leather. Long. Very good. Lovely balance and range of flavours. Quite smooth and positive development. No rush.

  Popped and poured. Awful. Thin, rubbery, closed. Opened up after an hour. More nuanced with delicate cherry and herbal aromas. Very high acidity and medium (-) body. Requires food. Not very good value.

  Pop and pour. Tasted over 3 days with vacuvin cap in between days.
  Grassl Cru stem.
  Ruby garnet color.
  Nose is sangiovese.
  Shows some red clay and herbal notes with dark cherry and berries and some mushroom.
  Good balance of fruit and savory notes with acidity. Tannins nicely integrated.
  Very enjoyable sangiovese.
  
  14%abv.
