  Deep, dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe dark fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty notes, herbs, coffee/cocoa, spices, minerals a hint of smokiness with oak/vanilla notes in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of smooth textured & well balanced, lush, ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, spices, earthy, herbs, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.
