Nothing out of the spectrum and i wasn’t floored by the experience and needless to say i struggled with understanding how it got 99 points? Not here to throw rocks because i actually bought 4 more bottles of 2015 and 3 more 2016 subsequently to probably convince myself otherwise? Hence i am curious does anyone have any similar experience like me? Or what am i actually missing out?

  Clean modern lines approaching maturity. Teak, tart cherry, strawberry, rose, leather, charcoal. Probably five years from peak but drinking great now with a little air. The charcoal really adds a nice bass note.

  Automatically very pleasant: red fruit, spices, wood. Acidic and a bit austere on the palate. Probably needs more time.
