The nose is amazing. It is ready to drink now. Not finding this one to be upper to mid 90 rating. While it is good not great right now. Glad I have a case to keep checking back.

Sangiovese and Brunello tasting for my 38th birthday (Wine Taste Gdansk): 👀 Intense cherry red with garnet rim, very lively. 👃 At the nose it's very similar to the Helicrysium version drunk over a year and half ago, with very pronounced balsamic note, red fruit, bloody and forest notes. 👅 Powerful and explosive on the palate, very intense, with strong but not too rough tannins, beautiful acidity. 🏁 Very persistent finish, a pleasure to drink even if very young.

Slightly ruddy red, with pinkish rim. After 2 hour decant, the nose has developed beautifully with green pepper, charred citrus, menthol and soft earthy notes. The palate is well balanced, with lovely, mouth watering acidity. Tannins are fine, and set back somewhat back. This feels too young to drink now, and while enjoyable, best to have these spend more time in the cellar. Lots of great structure to keep this going for quite sometime. On day 2, this improved significantly after another 2 hours of open bottle.

Medium reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty, floral & herbal notes, spices, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, mulberries & plums with spices, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing but has the fruit & structure to continue development with continued aging.

A WTSO special. Nothing amazing....
Color. Translucent red
Nose. Classic grape with stewed prune. A little leather and cedar too.
Palate. Tart cherries, leather, smooth fruits. No tannins.
